On the blog, I’m launching a brand-new series called Paris on a Budget. More often than not, booking accommodations will cost you more money than your flight. After your flight is scheduled, you will need to make travel and lodging arrangements. This article is an update to the original Budget-Friendly Paris Hotel blog post.

Since they reopened, hotels in Paris have become more expensive due to the high demand for travel. The location and season are always two factors that can significantly alter the cost of a room. If you have a specific location in mind for your base, use the map below to help you narrow down your options.

To secure the best rates, reserve your hotel rooms as soon as you know your dates. Depending on demand, the room rate may increase significantly as you approach. Paris experiences its peak seasons in the spring, summer, and fall.

Situated on Paris’s Left Bank, Hotel Monge is conveniently close to the Latin Quarter, a great place to find reasonably priced food and beverages in the city of lights. The hotel offers free wi-fi and breakfast in addition to chic, contemporary rooms. The Jardin des Plantes, Panthéon, and Luxembourg Gardens are just a few of the many things to do in the vicinity.

3. Hotel Paradis

Perfect for singles or couples, Hotel Paradis is centrally located in Paris. The prices vary based on the size of the room and range from $120 to $180. The hotel is situated between the arrondissements of 9 and 10. A few years ago, I had a simple but comfortable room here. The hotel’s close proximity to the city’s many excellent restaurants was one feature I really enjoyed. This is a good choice for those looking for a reasonably priced hotel room. Your budget can be used for dining out and visiting Parisian landmarks. You should put Bistro Rougemont on your list of restaurants, and a reasonably priced sandwich shop called Miznon is nearby. 4. Hotel Marais Grands Boulevards

Compared to other budget hotels, Hotel Marais Grands Boulevards is more expensive, with rooms costing about $200 per night. Because the hotel is Instagram-friendly, you might see some pictures of your favorite bloggers visiting Paris. I haven’t stayed here, but I wouldn’t think twice about coming for a night or two. Because of its 4-star hotel’s prime location in the middle of the city, most of it is walkable. I always think that is one location that might not be walkable, unless you are right by the Eiffel Tower. Getting an Uber or using the metro are both easy alternatives.

5. Hotel Thèrese

I gush about Hotel Thèrese, Adèle and Jules’ sister hotel, all the time. Situated on a peaceful street, the hotel offers easy access to numerous must-see attractions for first-time visitors in Paris, including the Louvre, which is just a short stroll away. This is an excellent starting point for discovering Paris. When I visited, I was impressed by the desk staff’s attention to detail and the peaceful street view from my room. The Tuileries gardens and the Palais Royal are both easily accessible on foot from Hotel Thèrese.

6. Maison Mère

Found in the burgeoning category of boutique hotels, Maison Mère is an ideal destination for a weekend or weeklong stay in Paris. The hotel is brand new, has contemporary amenities, and is close to many of Paris’s tourist attractions. Balconies overlook a peaceful street. I will return later this year for another stay, having recently spent time here earlier in the summer. When it comes to restaurant recommendations, the front desk staff is very helpful. 7. Hotel de la Tamise

Situated on a calm street with a view of the Tuileries Gardens, the Hotel de la Tamise is situated in the Louvré-Saint Honoré neighborhood of central Paris. This 19-room hotel is a small boutique establishment that offers family and single traveler accommodations. 8. Hotel Bienvenue

Situated in the 9th district, for those seeking a true local Paris experience, the Hotel Bienvenue is well located. The starting prices for rooms range from $100 to $200 (families may get a triple room for $180). There are on-site cooking workshops offered once a week.

9. Hotel Adèle and Jules

I gush to readers about Adèle and Jules because it’s a beautiful hotel that offers excellent value. There are many different kinds of rooms; some have quiet street views, while others have courtyard views for peaceful sleeping.

The hotel consists of two identical buildings, named Jules and Adèle, respectively. The staff at Adèle and Jules’ hotel is helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do in the area. There’s tea time and an honesty bar in the lobby, as well as breakfast. You can order room service for breakfast in your room. Some rooms have balconies that overlook the street, where you can sit and eat breakfast. The hotel is located on a family-friendly, calm street. Although the rooms are a little more expensive than those of the boutique hotels mentioned above, you can still get a room for under $200 depending on the season. I stayed in room 42, which was quite spacious for two people. ideal for friends or couples.

In addition to having adjoining rooms that are ideal for family accommodations if you are traveling with children, the hotel features private bathrooms and some small rooms that are ideal for a lone traveler. 10. Hotel Royal Madeleine

While researching a few weeks ago, I came upon Hotel Royal Madeleine. I would adore the chance to stay here, and I have already told a few friends about it. It recently underwent renovations and is situated right in the center of the 8th arrondissement. The hotel is a great value at between $140 and $180 per night.
