Gelato D’Amore Nice

📍125 Rue de France, 06000 Nice, France

My visit to Gelato D’Amore in Nice was a memorable affair, especially due to the extraordinary array of flavors that were both innovative and inviting. As I stepped into the cozy shop, I was immediately mesmerized by the display of gelato, each looking more tempting than the last.

The moment I tasted their ‘King Pistachio’, I knew I had discovered something special. This flavor, painstakingly created, was nothing short of extraordinary – rich, nutty, and with a depth of flavor that I hadn’t experienced in pistachio gelato before.

It was evident that each ingredient was chosen with care and precision, resulting in a gelato that was both luxurious and comforting. The ambiance of the shop, with its warm and inviting décor, only added to the experience, making it not just a treat for the palate but also for the soul.

Amorino Nice

📍 33 rue Massena, 06000 Nice
📞+33 7 49 72 50 01
Score: 3.7 / 5

Most people undoubtedly recognize the Amorino gelato Nice France establishments for their distinctive flower cones. Naturally, I overlooked the pretty colored gelato on my first visit and instead chose to indulge in my typical yearning for chocolate. I realized I could have done better visually after looking at the pictures. Quite frankly, in terms of taste as well.

The Amorino cones are composed of a thick waffle cone and are small and narrow in shape. If I’m being picky, it looked to be a poor fit for the gelato; I might have expected a sugar cone. The waffle cone might serve as a better foundation for the flower cone. A robust cone is probably necessary because the floral shape requires quite a bit of precise paddling.

Portion-wise, the small was a nice size, and you could choose from any number of flavors.
